Thames Tide Rising 2005
Thames Tide Rising is a sculpture measuring 4500 mm x 5300 mm x 2000 mm for the London Head Office of John Laing plc, is an example of how the construction principles were effectively adapted to the large scale requirements of their Reception atrium.
The spirits are lifted by vibrant, translucent colours cutting through the air in simple sweeps. Clear forms, crystalline or curving, emerge unexpectedly from different viewpoints, giving the added delight of surprise.
